Python Tech Lead

Salary: from 350,000 to 450,000 (possibly more, negotiable)
Main tasks
- Architecture and technical leadership:
- Design and develop the backend architecture of the platform;
- Make key technical decisions, participate in architectural sessions, form technical standards;
- Conduct code reviews, mentor middle developers, help build engineering practices;
- Plan service evolution.
- Feature development:
- Develop and maintain microservices using Django (DRF) and FastAPI (clean architecture, modularity, testability);
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL / Develop REST API / Embed patterns.
- Develop, refine, and optimize existing products;
- Develop integration services (scheduled, via shared DB/file storage, via API, via message broker, and hybrid options).
Main requirements
- Solid knowledge of Python (10+ years) and frameworks Django (DRF) and FastAPI;
- Experience in designing REST API;
- Understanding and practical experience with WebSocket and SSE;
- Deep knowledge of multitasking, multithreading, and asynchronous execution principles in Python;
- Experience with locks and transactions;
- Skills in data architecture design (normalization and denormalization);
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse), including partitioning, indexes, and views;
- Experience with SQLAlchemy;
- Experience interacting with S3 and file storage (YC S3, VK Cloud S3, MinIO, local file storage);
- Experience with Redis, Redis broker, RabbitMQ, Celery;
- Knowledge and practical application of Docker;
- Experience in team development using Git and CI/CD (GitLab);
- Skills in writing acceptance tests.
