REMOTE GLOBAL / UZ | UZUM
We are looking for strong engineers for the technical team of Uzum Nasiya. The main focus is on developing microservices in Go for the Uzum Nasiya credit conveyor, migrating the codebase from PHP, and transitioning from MariaDB to PostgreSQL.
The focus will be on bringing the current architecture of Uzum Nasiya in line with best practices for high-load and fault-tolerant platforms: isolating domain logic, preparing migrations, and moving critical rules to Go services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure production quality: reliability and performance. Metrics, profiling, degradations, fault tolerance.
- Development of Uzum Nasiya Go services and related circuits;
- Analysis and decomposition of legacy logic in the monolith;
- Design and implementation of API/event contracts;
- Refactoring/stabilization of the monolith where justified;
- Covering critical logic with tests (unit/integration/contract);
- Performance and resilience optimization under load;
- Operations: monitoring, incidents, SLO improvement.
Requirements:
- Go — confident production level, microservices, concurrency, testing, profiling;
- Kafka/event-driven — handler design, retries, DLQ, idempotent consumers;
- Kubernetes/CI/CD (desirable, SRE is available) — containerization, deployment, basic operations practices;
- Reliability — metrics/traces/logs, alerts;
- Experience in monolith migration, service extraction, strangler-pattern, feature flags, contract compatibility.
