We are looking for an analyst-developer to join the offline metrics team to improve the quality of Image Search within one of Yandex's strongest analytics departments.
What you will be doing:
- Evaluating search result quality: conducting comparisons with competitors, identifying strong and weak areas, devising search result metrics
- Automating labeling with quality growth: we are one of the few places where humans are actually replaced by LLM/VLM models, and we do it with cost savings and quality improvements
- Measuring the quality of various components of the Image Search service
- Working in close collaboration with a strong team of ML engineers
What we expect from the candidate:
- A clear mind and a desire to work
- Proficient SQL and Python
- Strong product thinking
- Interest in search technologies and AI
- Experience in the LLM / VLM field will be a plus
