simBIOS is a management simulator where a person lives through several months of a real project in a few hours.
The user has a team, deadlines, budget, contractors, and related departments. Employees write to them, requirements change, deliveries are missed, conflicts arise, someone goes on vacation at the most inconvenient moment, management demands acceleration. The participant's decisions influence what events will happen next and how the project will ultimately end.
It is for this part of simBIOS that we are looking for a scriptwriter.
We provide an initial business case: for example, construction of a facility, launch of production, implementation of an IT system, or technological re-equipment of an enterprise.
From this, you need to create a complete interactive scenario.
Invent characters, their personalities and interests. Break down several months of the project into events. Write emails, messages, calls, meetings, and dialogues. Think through conflicts and unexpected situations.
What happens if the manager involves the right person on time? What changes if they ignore the problem? How will a decision made at the beginning of the project manifest itself after several game weeks? Under what conditions should an event appear at all?
Usually, one scenario is about 10-20 pages of the main story and characters and 50-100 related events.
The scriptwriter independently designs branching logic, event triggers, and consequences of decisions. The impact on deadlines, budget, quality, team, and other metrics is worked out together with the methodologist.
No programming is required. We have our own simple visual logic editor for building scenarios.
We need a specialist of middle level and above who knows how to work with interactive stories and cause-and-effect relationships.
Experience in the game industry will be a strong plus: narrative design, visual novels, RPGs, story-driven or board games.
We are particularly interested in seeing work that features branching narratives, event systems, or choice consequences. You can send published projects, scripts, diagrams, or other examples.
We especially value the ability to write lively, concise texts. We provide the initial case and work on the content together with the methodologist. However, the scriptwriter will need to research some details independently.
We provide maximum creative freedom.
Within the framework of the initial case, you can invent characters, their relationships, conflicts, hidden causes of problems, and plot development. We need a realistic corporate world that also has drama and tension.
The scenarios are very diverse: industry, construction, IT, crisis management, product launch, organizational changes.
The first task is to develop and bring one complete scenario to a working version. After that, we have several dozen scenarios for different industries and programs.
Fully remote work.
Initially, project-based work under a civil law contract (GPH). If we work well together, we want to continue the collaboration on a part-time or full-time basis, and in the future, we are considering developing a separate scenario direction within the product.
The remuneration range is discussed depending on the candidate's experience.
After an introduction and portfolio review, a short interview will be held to discuss a real scenario.
