About the Team
Our team is building internal AI tools, specifically Avito's main internal assistant, which will help thousands of people daily with a wide variety of tasks. Information retrieval, working with documents and analytical data, inter-person communication, task automation. Your role will be to develop the assistant's capabilities, the interaction portal, and integrations with other AI tools and corporate systems. Our assistant will become the primary entry point for every Avito employee's workday. We currently have a startup approach to development. We experiment a lot, try new things, and are not afraid to change plans.
Your Responsibilities
- designing, developing, and maintaining Avito's internal assistant and its surrounding infrastructure;
- designing and developing multi-agent systems;
- implementing RAG and integrations with various Avito systems;
- integrating and writing plugins for n8n.
We Expect You To
- have an excellent command of Python, but not be afraid to use other languages and tools where appropriate;
- understand that an engineer's role is not just coding, but also design, monitoring, documentation, and user feedback;
- understand agile development, be ready to experiment and test new ideas extensively.
It Would Be Great If You
- understand the challenges of Data Scientists firsthand – either by working with them or by trying to write ML code yourself;
- understand the ML/AI product development cycle;
- have experience with agent system frameworks: Google ADK, AutoGen, OpenAI;
- are interested in GenAI, agents, RAG, and how to integrate them into the workflow;
- continue to write code;
- have experience with vector databases.
