ML Developer for the E-commerce Ranking Group in Search
Yandex Search helps millions of people choose and buy products every day. The main goal of our team is to improve search scenarios for queries with commercial intents.
Users may come to search at different stages of purchasing a product. In some scenarios, the user is looking for a specific item, and our task is to find the best offers for them. In other scenarios, we must help the user make a choice, selecting the most suitable products for them.
Improving the conversion rate of search results You will solve complex ML tasks to improve the conversion rate of search results, from idea to implementation in production, optimize online selection and purchase scenarios, conduct online and offline experiments, and work with both classical ML and neural networks.
Working with recommender systems You will work on improving our personalization models, take into account user purchasing behavior and their product preferences, and engage in both ranking and candidate generation.
Increasing the diversity of search results Currently, our ranking does not account for the regionality and specialization of stores, nor the specifics of particular products. In the top search results for different queries and in different regions, you can see the same products and stores. You will be tasked with solving the feedback loop problem in our ranking models.
