Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning the creation strategy and designing the architecture for Hadoop, Cassandra;
- Describing the architecture, calculating sizing, defending solutions at the Architectural Committee;
- Developing and implementing a strategy for monitoring, performance scaling, and backup;
- Developing measures for data security and compliance with relevant security standards;
- Developing a list of documentation and guides for operational departments and users.
We expect you to:
- Have practical experience administering Hadoop, Cassandra in high-load production environments;
- Have experience in designing, developing, and implementing new DBMS;
- Possess deep expertise in hardware infrastructure components: LAN and SAN networks, servers, storage systems, server hardware, infrastructure software;
- Have basic programming experience in any language for automating routine tasks;
- Have experience automating DbaaS lifecycle management using Ansible, Terraform;
- Understand the principles of building high-load projects with a microservice architecture;
- Have experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
