Data Scientist (Mathematician-Programmer in the Financial Sector)

The internal audit team analyzes the company's internal processes and helps Sber become better. To do this, we use modern data processing methods: Process Mining, Speech-to-text, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing.

We are looking for junior Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to join our team.

Vacancy for junior and experienced specialists who want to build a career in IT and develop in one of the largest technology companies.

Responsibilities

• analysis or writing of program code, mathematical modeling, solving financial problems using numerical methods
• automation of verification processes (SQL, Python, Excel, etc.);
• analysis of large data volumes using HiveSQL, Apache Spark, GreenPlum
• description of shortcomings in processes based on the obtained data, process program code.

Requirements

• education in the field of mathematics, IT, Quantitative analyst, (graduates of mathematical faculties of specialized universities (Math, Physics and Math, PMM, students starting from the 4th year with the possibility of combining study and full-time work))
• knowledge of financial mathematics, stochastic analysis
• MS SQL, Python at a confident user level, ability to write code, understand existing code
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint at an advanced user level
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to use neural networks in daily work
