Data Scientist Internship

Our team is focused on personalized discount recommendations for corporate clients. During the work process, we implement the entire model lifecycle – from gathering requirements to integrating the solution into business processes and conducting A/B tests to measure solution quality. In our work, we have extensive communication with business clients, exchange ideas with colleagues, and present results to the Bank's management.

👷‍♂️ What you will do: Collect, clean, and analyze data; Formulate and verify hypotheses; Select model architecture; Develop ML models and algorithms for financial tasks; Deploy models into production and integrate results into business processes; Support and maintain implemented solutions. Conduct A/B tests to measure solution quality. Interact with clients and present results to the Bank's management;

🛠 Tech Stack: Classic ML (pandas, numpy, sklearn, catboost, xgboost), SQL, BigData (Hadoop, Spark, SparkML) 🏎 Hardware: Own Hadoop cluster 🧙‍♂️ Candidate Requirements: Knowledge in mathematics (calculus/linear algebra/probability theory, mathematical statistics); Good knowledge of Classic ML theory Proficient in Python

💪 Will be a plus: You are in your final year of bachelor's/master's degree, have already completed your master's, or are pursuing a PhD; — you have a strong mathematical, technical, or engineering background; — you are proficient in Python; — you can quickly learn new libraries, frameworks, and approaches; — you are ready to dive deep into solution architecture, Proficiency in BigData stack Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence Experience in end-to-end ML model development (EDA-MVP-Solution-Validation-Production)

💪💪 A special plus would be education from a strong technical faculty: MIPT, MSU Faculty of Mathematics, MSU Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, MSU Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, HSE Faculty of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics / Informatics, and related fields.
