giper.fm is a technology company operating at the intersection of digital marketing, e-commerce, analytics, and advertising technologies.
We are currently developing a unified data pipeline that will connect information from client projects, CRM, advertising systems, websites, brand shops, and internal services. Our goal is to move from fragmented extracts and reports to a reliable data platform for management decisions, analytical automation, and new product creation.
To achieve this goal, we are looking for a Data Engineer to help design and build the technological foundation of giper.fm's analytical system.
What you will do
- Conduct an audit of existing data sources, integrations, and their processing procedures;
- Participate in the design of the target data platform architecture;
- Create and develop ETL/ELT processes for collecting data from CRMs, databases, APIs, advertising platforms, web analytics systems, and external files;
- Configure regular data loading, cleaning, transformation, and consolidation;
- Design the storage structure and data models for analytical and management tasks;
- Collaborate with analysts to form data marts for reporting, BI dashboards, and client analytics;
- Ensure data quality, completeness, relevance, and consistency;
- Configure pipeline monitoring, logging, error notifications, and SLA control;
- Optimize query performance and the cost of data storage and processing;
- Document data sources, data models, transformation and integration rules;
- Participate in the selection of the technology stack and external solutions;
- Ensure access control and secure handling of commercial and personal data;
- In the future, prepare infrastructure for predictive analytics, automation, and ML products.
What we expect
- Strong command of SQL and Python;
- Practical experience in creating and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines;
- Experience integrating systems via APIs, databases, files, and message queues;
- Understanding of DWH, Data Lake, or Lakehouse construction principles;
- Knowledge of data modeling approaches and creating analytical marts;
- Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or comparable DBMS;
- Experience using Airflow, Dagster, or other orchestration tools;
- Proficiency in Git, Docker, and basic CI/CD practices;
- Experience preparing data for ML models, working with AI platforms;
- Understanding of monitoring, testing, and data quality control principles;
- Ability to independently learn new subject areas and translate business tasks into technical solutions;
- Ability to interact with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.
A big advantage will be
- Experience with dbt;
- Experience building a data platform from scratch or participating in its significant redesign;
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and managed data storage and processing services;
- Experience with Yandex Cloud and Yandex DataLens;
- Integrations with CRM, e-commerce systems, advertising accounts, and web analytics platforms;
- Knowledge of Kafka or other stream processing technologies;
- Experience with marketing and advertising data;
- Understanding of basic principles of product and customer analytics.
