We are expanding our staff and are looking for a Data Engineer.

You are a good fit if you know and work with:

• Language: Python.
• Databases: Clickhouse (main storage), PostgreSQL (reference data).
• Orchestration: at your discretion (Airflow, Prefect, or a custom solution).
• Wiki
• Monitoring: Grafana, bots. Communication and documentation tools
• Communications: Yandex Messenger.
• Task management and tracking: Yandex Tracker.
• Documentation: Yandex Wiki.

Key requirements for the candidate

• Over 3 years of experience in enterprise data development (ETL, SQL, Python).
• Confident command of SQL, Clickhouse, and PostgreSQL.
• Skill in researching sources without a ready-made technical specification.
• Experience in setting up monitoring and understanding of SLA.
• Ability to set tasks for related teams and control the result.

Your responsibilities:

• Data source research — analysis of structure, APIs, available fields, limitations, formation of integration requirements.
• Setting tasks for developers — clear technical specifications for data integration (what, how often, in what format).
• Data quality control — checking completeness, correctness, deduplication, validation.
• Storage design — schemes in Clickhouse (partitions, TTL) and PostgreSQL (reference data) in conjunction with DBAs.
• ETL processes — cleaning, aggregation, metric calculation.
• Monitoring and SLA — setting up alerts, controlling update times, identifying anomalies.
• Data delivery — preparing data marts for analysts, supporting dashboards.
• Joint resolution of architectural issues (storage standards, monitoring, process unification).
• Interaction with development teams, DevOps, DBAs, and analysts.
