What you will do
- Manage the full animation pipeline in Spine, including asset export from Photoshop, rigging, and optimization.
- Develop visual effects within Spine and Unity.
- Mentor junior and mid-level animators and contribute to internal documentation.
- Perform technical optimizations for characters and effects to ensure high performance in the game engine.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Spine, including skeletal animation, mesh deformation, skinning, and texture atlas optimization.
- Strong mastery of the 12 Principles of Animation.
- Solid experience with Unity animation and VFX workflows.
- 2-3+ years of professional experience in game development.
- Must provide a portfolio for consideration.
Nice to have
- Experience with complex projects involving unconventional technical architectures.
- Proficiency in creating UI animations.
