We are IBS. A Russian system integrator with 30 years of expertise in developing digital solutions for the public sector and large businesses.
You will work on significant government projects. These are large analytical systems with many dashboards and complex data processing logic. We are looking for a specialist who will build the automation process from scratch: develop a methodology, select cases, and unite manual testers, performance testers, and developers.
Your responsibilities will include
- Analyze system performance and determine the testing automation strategy.
- Develop test cases, prepare test data, create testing methodologies.
- Develop and maintain autotests using Selenium/Selenoid.
- Interact with the manual testing (RFT) and performance testing (PT) teams — clarify cases, evaluate the correctness and relevance of scenarios.
- Track the defect lifecycle in the tracking system, identify problematic areas in the software, and promptly communicate information to developers.
- Actively participate in teamwork with analysts, developers, and support specialists at all stages — from task assignment to industrial operation.
Our requirements:
Experience: from 1.5 to 2 years in a similar position.
Mandatory skills:
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (from business requirement to customer acceptance and implementation).
- Knowledge of testing types and test design methods (equivalence classes, boundary values, etc.).
- Experience with Selenium, Selenoid.
- Experience with tools: Jira, Confluence, Wiki.
- SQL: confident query writing (selection, filtering, joins).
- Basic knowledge: Java (OOP fundamentals), UML, XML, HTML (at the reading/understanding level).
- Ability to work with AI by writing effective prompts for code generation, documentation, or data analysis.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, analytical skills, responsibility, and communication skills.
Desirable skills (will be a plus):
- Experience with AI agents (not just prompts, but also integration into processes).
- Skill in working with Low-code platforms.
- Experience testing complex dashboards and data visualizations.
