VK Clips is an endless feed of short vertical videos (from 5 seconds to 3 minutes) on VK. Smart algorithms adapt the feed to the user's interests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the VK Android application
- Work within a large codebase
- Participate in architecture design
- Influence technical decisions: stack, approaches, processes
- Optimize performance (startup time, scroll, memory, network)
- Participate in code reviews and shape engineering culture
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial Android development experience
- Solid knowledge of Kotlin + Java
- Experience with various architectures: Clean Architecture / MVI / MVVM (and understanding their applicability)
- Experience with large codebases and modern stacks (Coroutines, Compose)
- Understanding of multithreading and Android lifecycle
- Experience in performance optimization and debugging complex cases
- Knowledge of classic algorithms and data structures
