And this is quite an interesting task, so I decided to talk a little not only about the tech stack.

The company is building an AI platform for e-commerce operators. The founders themselves have been developing DTC brands for many years and are now transferring their experience to a new product.

They already have their own business with significant real turnover, so the platform will not be working on some abstract test data from the very beginning. The first real payments and subscriptions will go through what you build.

Currently, the company is essentially building its payment layer from scratch. Its own card vault, tokens, integrations with acquiring banks, MID cascading, rebills, retries, and everything related to this.

Therefore, I need not just a good Node.js developer here.

It is very important that the person already has real production experience with payment integrations. Preferably with at least two acquiring banks, not just experience working with Stripe Billing within a SaaS product.

In addition, one needs to have a good understanding of recurring payments, MIT/CIT, retries, dunning, and generally how payment logic is structured in e-commerce.

Regarding the tech stack — strong TypeScript / Node.js and PostgreSQL.

And one more important point. The team actively uses coding agents. Not just "tried Cursor and liked it," but genuinely work with them every day and expect the engineer to use them as part of their work.

The team is still small: CTO and three engineers. Direct work with the founders, without a lot of management and approvals.

Remote, full-time, B2B. Working English is required.

I think this is a good option for someone who is interested not just in closing individual technical tasks, but in building a rather serious payment layer from scratch and seeing how it starts working on a real business.
