Senior Android Developer for Platform Team

We are looking for an Android developer who wants to develop in the platform direction. You will be writing scripts, working with pipelines, and speeding up application builds.

T-Bank's platform teams ensure stable operation and develop the technical side of the company's most important products: the mobile bank, T-Investments, T-Business, and many others.

Our team solves complex technical challenges that only arise in large-scale projects. We develop our own solutions and publish useful developments as Open Source.

We handle everything that happens before, after, and during the creation of product features:

— increase the reliability and security of applications;

— improve performance and work with memory;

— work with DevEx and infrastructure: create tools and the development environment for product features;

— increase the accessibility of applications for all user groups;

— develop the identity of our applications and the design system;

— optimize the architecture with 1000+ local modules.

We are looking for a mobile developer to join the team. Apply if you want to develop in the platform direction—even if you have no experience with such tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D research
• Write scripts and plugins, engage in meta-programming
• Create tools for running automated tests
• Develop libraries and SDKs for the fast and seamless integration of ready-made functionality into the product
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and speed up application builds

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of commercial development experience
• Know how to work with Android Studio and actively use Kotlin in daily development
• Can design client-server interaction
• Have experience creating custom UI components
• Know OOP and data structures
• Know how to work with Git
• Know MVVM and MVI
• Know Gradle
• Understand CI/CD
• Experience writing your own plugins and configuring CI/CD is a plus
