DevOps Intern (Center for Quantum Technologies)

At the Center for Quantum Technologies, we are developing computing accelerators to enhance the speed of machine learning based on integrated photonics, working on an optical engine to replace layers in neural networks, and creating building blocks for a photonic quantum computer.

Our interdisciplinary team is responsible for software development and infrastructure at the Center. Among us are DevOps engineers, backend developers, compiler developers, FPGA developers, and systems developers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• automation of routine tasks and processes in Python
• working with Docker: building images, containerizing services
• support and configuration of Linux servers, writing Bash scripts
• participation in the setup and diagnostics of network infrastructure.

Requirements

We are looking for an initiative-taking intern with knowledge of Python, practical experience with Docker/docker-compose, and basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing; experience in home/lab network setup).
