We are building a system for secure storage of digital currencies and managing operations with them. The system is based on depositary accounting, working with public blockchains, and key management.
This is an opportunity to participate in building a project from scratch and gain experience in the developing regulated digital currency market. The project is at the intersection of public blockchains and the regulated financial market.
Tasks
- Develop a depositary accounting system and integrate it with the storage service and public blockchains.
- Receive data from nodes, monitor network status, form and send transactions.
- Develop a key management subsystem: issuance, storage, usage, and replacement of keys, transaction signing rules, and access control; implement solutions based on Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
- Write reliable code, assign tasks to AI agents, and verify their work.
- Participate in design and be responsible for the results of the implemented area.
Skills:
- Understand the architecture of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and blockchain wallets; have experience with blockchain network infrastructure.
- Proficient in applied cryptography: digital signatures, hash functions, key derivation, working with nonces, and attacks on signing protocols.
- Able to assess the security of solutions, find vulnerabilities, and consider possible attack scenarios during design.
- Confidently write in Rust, Scala, or Go, and can read code in other languages.
- Capable of independently understanding a new protocol from its specification, developing a prototype to grasp its principles, and verifying the implementation.
- Write tests, add necessary logs and metrics, consider audit requirements for operations, and think through system behavior in case of failures.
Will be a plus
- Experience with threshold signature protocols or HSM.
- Experience in one of the following areas: financial accounting, payment infrastructure, working in a regulated financial market.
- Experience using AI agents in development.
