Golang Developer
We are the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) team. Our goal is to create a "single window" for hundreds of Okko engineers so they can spend time on the product, not on routine tasks like setting up access, pipelines, or searching for the right services.
Due to team expansion, we are looking for a Go Developer to help scale the platform and make development within the company faster and more convenient.
We offer:
- Necessary equipment and software for work;
- Official employment;
- Voluntary medical insurance with dental care, company doctor, sick leave compensation, corporate discounts;
- Preferential mortgage terms within the salary project;
- Free subscriptions to partner services;
- Corporate sports;
- Rich corporate life;
- An electronic library from MIF publishing house, which includes almost 2,000 content items on business, self-development, healthy lifestyle, and other relevant topics.
Your main missions at Okko:
- Design and develop the architecture of key internal products: access management, device testing farm, team metrics;
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in Go, covering solutions with unit and integration tests;
- Optimize work with PostgreSQL, design data schemas, and effectively use GORM;
- Integrate microservices via Apache Kafka and gRPC;
- Develop infrastructure tooling: write and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins, work with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Participate in Code Reviews, mentor colleagues, and actively influence the technical stack, code standards, and processes within the team;
- Configure observability: analyze logs and metrics through Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus to make the platform predictable and fault-tolerant.
Superpowers we value:
- 5+ years of commercial Go development experience;
- Deep understanding of concurrency in Go;
- Proficient in SQL and experience optimizing PostgreSQL queries;
- Experience building event-driven systems with Apache Kafka;
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including writing Groovy scripts for complex pipelines;
- Understanding of Kubernetes and containerization;
- Ability to configure monitoring and analyze logs;
- Experience writing tests using Testify and GoMock.
Will be a plus:
- Understanding of gRPC principles and API design via OpenAPI;
- Experience building an Internal Developer Platform, developer tools (DevEx), or access management systems;
- Experience integrating code scanners, SAST/DAST, or other security tools into CI/CD;
- Knowledge of how Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus work at the level of configuring dashboards, alerts, and custom metrics;
- Experience migrating legacy services and consolidating disparate internal tools into a single ecosystem.
