Crytivo is a video game publisher and developer looking for a Short Form Video Editor to help promote indie games from its publishing portfolio on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Videos will generally be 10–30 seconds long.

What we expect from you

• Create dynamic, fast-paced edits that focus on interesting and engaging gameplay rather than long, static shots. You can check out the Shorts on our Crytivo channel to get a better idea of the style we’re looking for.
• Record gameplay footage yourself when needed, so you should have a PC capable of recording most modern indie games smoothly. You’ll also regularly work with footage provided directly by game developers.
• Come up with video ideas, choose interesting topics, and write scripts for them.
• Work with voiceovers and music from free libraries or tracks provided by developers, making sure everything complies with the publishing platform’s rules. We can provide access to a voiceover generation service.
• Create automatic subtitles based on the voiceover and make sure they are clear, accurate, and easy to follow.
• Be comfortable making revisions based on feedback. We can agree in advance on a reasonable number of revision rounds for each video.
• Most videos will involve relatively simple but dynamic editing, although some projects may occasionally require more advanced effects or animation. You should also be comfortable using memes, sound effects, and simple visual effects when they fit the video, especially since trends and platform algorithms are constantly changing.
• Meet the deadlines and follow the publishing schedule we agree on together. You’ll be able to choose a workload that feels manageable, but once we agree on the number of videos and delivery dates, we expect the schedule to be followed.
• The primary content language is English, so you need a sufficient level of English to write short scripts and check voiceovers and subtitles.

• Record gameplay footage yourself. You should have a PC powerful enough to record gameplay of most modern indie games. You will also often need to use footage sent by the game developers themselves.
• Come up with video topics and write scripts for them.
• Use neural network voiceovers and music from free libraries (or music from the game developers themselves), which does not violate the rules of video publishing platforms. We are ready to provide you with access to a voiceover creation service.
• Ability to create automatic subtitles based on voiceovers.
• Readiness for video revisions. We are ready to discuss with you how many revisions are acceptable for a video.
• The main part of the videos involves relatively simple dynamic editing. Occasionally, there may be tasks with more complex effects, animation. If necessary, you should use memes, sound effects, and simple visual effects, as algorithms and trends are constantly changing.
• Meet deadlines and follow the video release plan that we agree on with you. You will independently determine a comfortable workload for yourself. After agreeing on the number of videos and deadlines, we expect you to adhere to the approved plan.
• The primary content language is English, so you need a sufficient level of English to write short scripts and check voiceovers and subtitles.
