Hadoop Database Administrator (DBA) (not a developer)
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive support of Arenadata Hadoop;
- Provide consultations on customer requests;
- Software updates;
- Data backup and recovery;
- Incident resolution;
- Performance analysis and software optimization;
- Interaction with developers;
- Maintaining technical documentation;
- Troubleshooting of test and production environments;
Requirements:
- Experience with Hadoop
- Experience with Linux OS, preferably CentOS and AltLinux;
- Understanding of fault-tolerant system design principles, experience in cluster deployment and administration;
Desirable:
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, K8s;
- Understanding of Kafka, Tarantool DBMS principles;
- Basic SQL knowledge;
- Experience with NoSQL databases;
- Knowledge of Ansible.
