Senior PHP developer (Backend)

Salary range: $3000 - $4200 (before taxes), depends on the results of the technical interview.

Hi! I'm Nadya from CSSSR. We are looking for a specialist to strengthen the backend development team of a mobile application for one of the banks in Uzbekistan. Experience working in banks/fintech or experience working on full-fledged applications, not just websites, is mandatory.

📝 Responsibilities:

• Support and development of the existing application, quick troubleshooting, updates when interfaces or libraries change;
• Development of new features, integration with new services, maintaining code quality;
• Active participation in the product lifecycle, making suggestions for improvement.

⚙️ Tech Stack:

• Main monolith PHP version 8.3, Laravel, there are microservices built on Node.JS, Python, brokers/queues are used - rabbit/kafka
• Local development in docker using compose
• Deployment of test environments in k8s

The project is stored in Github. All features are covered by tests: contracts and corner cases are tested.

✅ Requirements:

• Commercial experience with pure PHP for at least 4 years;
• Experience with the Laravel framework (experience with Symfony will be an advantage);
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs, microservices;
• Experience working in the banking sector
• Experience working on full-fledged applications, not just websites;
• Knowledge of algorithms for solving problems;
• Experience with DDD;
• Good understanding of OOP principles and design patterns;
• Creation and optimization of complex SQL queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• Experience with Git, Docker;
• Confident command of the Russian language (communication in the team is in Russian);

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, as well as experience in writing backends for mobile applications will be an advantage.

There are 3 PHP developers in the team.
