We are looking for an Embedded Developer for the Innovation team.
What you will be doing:
- Developing system/low-level software in C/C++ (or Rust) for embedded/system code;
- Working with microcontrollers, firmware, and peripherals;
- Developing solutions with a basic understanding of on-device cryptography, including key management and secure storage;
- Building and adapting Android images (AOSP/LineageOS), including working with Kernel modules;
- Rebuilding/customizing Android OS images at the platform level;
- Developing transport SDK and native libraries for Android (JNI/NDK);
- Developing backend services in Golang/Rust/Java/Kotlin, including REST/gRPC;
- Using Docker for building images and basic CI/CD.
What we expect:
- Smartcard/secure element (for bSIM) - experience with JavaCard (applets), secure element/SIM/smartcards, OTA provisioning;
- MacOS target - experience developing bSIM transport SDK for Android + macOS;
- Experience with Android virtualization (Anbox, EDM CloudPhone);
- Telecom context - understanding of SIM, eUICC, profiles;
- Linux - experience at the kernel and driver build level;
- Experience building agent systems - understanding of prompt engineering, tools, skills, agent loops. Relevant to R&D core (AIF, PhoneGPT, RIIL);
