We are looking for an ambitious Vertical Video Specialist for our media department. We need someone who doesn't just "make reels" but thinks in numbers, understands the psychology of an English-speaking audience, and wants to work hard and intensively for a great result. You will be the nexus between analytics, creativity, and the production team.
Tasks:
Analytics and Research:
- Analyzing short videos from TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, VK Clips: identifying patterns of successful videos.
- Analyzing attention retention (retention rate): at what second the viewer drops off, which hook worked.
- Deconstructing viral competitor videos into atomic elements: editing pace, on-screen text, music, color correction, subtitles, emotional peak.
Strategy and Creativity:
- Translating analytical insights into specific hypotheses for the team (e.g., "If we replace the spoken hook with a visual one, retention will increase by X%.")
- Coming up with and describing new content series and formats tailored to the specifics of each platform.
- Creating a "video constructor": script templates, typical structures for the first three seconds, reference collections for editors and creators.
Team Management:
- Assigning tasks to editors, designers, and copywriters based on ready-made analytical hypotheses.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements:
- Critically important: Ability and experience working specifically with an English-speaking audience (understanding the mentality, trends, slang, and content consumption culture in the EN segment). Candidates without an understanding of the English audience will not be considered.
- Experience with vertical videos and understanding their specifics.
- Extensive viewing experience and the ability to break down content into atomic elements (editing, hooks, retention).
- Experience managing a team (editors, designers, copywriters) and assigning tasks.
It will be a huge plus if you:
- Have successful cases and portfolios of vertical videos that have gained millions of views.
- Have experience working in media, marketing agencies, or within large blogger/game development projects.
- Understand how to use neural networks for generating ideas, scripts, or visuals.
