Data Analyst (FinTech)

We are developing an international FinTech project and looking for a Data Analyst to join our team, who will help make decisions based on numbers, analyze the credit portfolio, and identify business growth points. 💰 Salary: 2,000 – 2,500 $ 🌍 Format: 100% remote ⏰ Schedule: 5/2, from 09:00 to 18:00 (Kazakhstan / Astana time) 📌 Responsibilities: • Portfolio analytics: regular reporting on the credit portfolio and metric assembly (delinquency by buckets, issuance cohort dynamics). • Queries and dashboards: writing and maintaining SQL queries (PostgreSQL), building and updating dashboards in Metabase. • Ad-hoc tasks: operational calculations for the business (cohort analysis, assessment of the effect of limit changes, etc.). • Data handling: searching for duplicates, missing values, and discrepancies between sources, identifying causes of anomalies. • Scenario analysis: conducting stress tests to assess portfolio stability. • Automation: routine tasks in Python (pandas) and Excel (auto-exports, reconciliations). 🎯 Candidate profile: • Experience: from 1–2 years as an analyst in FinTech, banking, e-commerce, or digital sectors. • Proficient SQL (PostgreSQL): JOIN, aggregations, GROUP BY, window functions (we will check thoroughly). • Python (pandas): data loading, cleaning, aggregation, and visualization. • Excel / Google Sheets: pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, basic formulas. • Systemic approach: accuracy with numbers, ability to ask clarifying questions before starting calculations. • Experience in conducting scenario analysis and portfolio stress testing will be an advantage. 🎁 Conditions: • Payments without delays. • Fully remote work format. • Interesting applied FinTech tasks and work with large data volumes. • Minimum bureaucracy, a strong team, and free access to decision-making.
