Middle/Senior Go Developer [MWS Cloud Platform]

Job Description

MWS Cloud Platform is a new cloud platform from MTS Web Services, built on proprietary virtualization technologies and MTS's robust infrastructure. We manage the entire development cycle – from hardware and data centers to code. Our goal is to create a high-tech cloud for the most demanding customers, while also being understandable and convenient for developers.

We are looking for developers of various levels from Middle to Staff, who will participate in the creation of a new public cloud and the development of core services.

Responsibilities

• Development of key services for the MWS cloud using Golang
• Elaboration of architectural solutions in collaboration with teams (design and implementation of solutions)
• Development of public and internal APIs for our components
• Ensuring fault tolerance and scalability of systems
• "Turnkey" service support (the team supports its own service)
• Interaction with adjacent teams
• Maintaining technical documentation, code review
• If desired, you can mentor/guide less experienced colleagues.

What we expect

• 3+ years of experience in commercial development with Golang
• Experience in building and supporting fault-tolerant systems
• Experience in developing multithreaded code
• Attention to system quality: documentation, writing tests, code readability, observability of all components
• Interest in cloud technologies and data storage technologies in particular, willingness to study them in depth
• Experience with major clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, Yandex Cloud) and a good understanding of Kubernetes internals will be a plus
• Experience with other programming languages will be a plus.
