ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Reorganization of a corporate data warehouse (CDW). The work involves development, optimization, and support of DWH solutions based on Oracle and PostgreSQL.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

• Develop and optimize data loading processes (ETL)
• Work with the corporate data warehouse (CDW)
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries
• Develop analytical queries and reports
• Optimize data warehouse performance
• Participate in building and developing DWH architecture

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Practical experience with data storage and processing systems (CDW) built on Oracle and PostgreSQL;
2. Practical experience in developing procedures for loading data from source systems;
3. Knowledge of programming languages – Python;
4. Proficiency in SQL (including PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL);
5. Skill in writing and optimizing complex queries in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases (query optimization, reading query plans, confident use of window functions, recursive queries);
6. Experience with open-source ETL tools (Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow);
7. Understanding of CDW construction principles;
8. Experience in data warehouse optimization;
9. Experience in building analytical queries and developing reports based on CDW data;
10. Knowledge of software solutions and tools for DB development.
11. Work experience in a similar position for at least 3 (three) years;
12. Experience in projects for building/optimizing corporate data warehouses;
13. Higher/incomplete higher professional education;
14. Knowledge of banking business processes (preferable).
