Head of Architectural Solutions Department

📍 Tashkent, Uzbekistan (relocation required)

Expera is one of the largest IT integrators in Uzbekistan with over 20 years of experience in implementing digital transformation projects for banks, financial institutions, and government organizations. The company implements full-cycle projects: from designing architecture and selecting solutions to implementation and system support.

We are looking for a Head of Architectural Solutions Department — a strong, practicing Enterprise / Solution Architect Lead who can shape the company's architectural approaches, make key technical decisions, and participate in building large information systems for the banking and public sectors.

⚡ Important: this is not an "architecture for the sake of diagrams" role. We need a leader who can navigate complex IT landscapes, negotiate with business stakeholders and teams, make well-informed decisions, and drive change through expertise and influence.

What you will do:

• Develop target architecture for customer information systems;
• Formulate architectural standards and best practices;
• Analyze current IT landscape and perform gap analysis;
• Develop integration solutions and architectural concepts;
• Supervise the implementation of architectural solutions in projects;
• Conduct expertise of solutions from internal teams and contractors;
• Manage a team of architects and develop the architectural function.

What is important:

• 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise / Solution / System Architect;
• Experience in designing large corporate or banking systems;
• Microservices architecture, SOA, Event-Driven Architecture;
• Kafka, REST API, gRPC, MQ/RabbitMQ;
• UML, BPMN, ArchiMate;
• TOGAF, Zachman;
• Experience in architectural supervision;
• Team management experience;
• Banking experience will be a significant advantage.
