Financial Specialist (Remote)

An international payment startup is looking for a Financial Specialist to develop the financial function and build a transparent business analytics system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of P&L by merchants, regions, and business lines • Calculation and analysis of unit economics • Budgeting and budget execution control • Analysis of profitability of products, clients, and payment flows • Identification of inefficient and unprofitable business areas • Preparation of regular financial reports and analytics for management • Participation in decision-making based on financial data

Initial Tasks:

• Conduct a deep analysis of the profitability of existing merchants • Identify key factors influencing business profitability • Build a real-time dashboard with current net profit indicators • Prepare recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability

What we expect:

• Experience in financial analytics, FP&A, corporate finance, or fintech • Solid understanding of P&L, unit economics, and financial modeling • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills • BI tools experience will be an advantage • Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify patterns • High level of independence and responsibility

Bonus points:

• Experience in fintech, payments, acquiring, crypto, or high-risk projects • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytical tools • Experience in building management reporting from scratch
