We are seeking a highly motivated Middle Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Blockchain and Presales processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outsourcing environments, gathering and managing requirements throughout the SDLC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a solid understanding of Web3 technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and stakeholders while supporting project delivery and presales initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the software development industry (outsourcing companies) in the position of Business Analyst
- Understanding of Blockchain principles, DeFi & NFT meanings, what are cross-chain communications, Ethereum, Polkadot & substrate-based chains, what is L2 infrastructure and what for, what are ZK rollups, and ZK in general
- Basic understanding of the crypto systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience of handling Requirement Management during SDLC
- Experience with Jira & Confluence
- Knowledge of the Documentation and Requirement elicitation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working over Presales (As activity between projects)
- Upper-Intermediate English
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for blockchain-based projects throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation, including BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and specifications.
- Facilitate requirement elicitation sessions, workshops, and discovery meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support presales activities by participating in discovery calls, solution discussions, effort estimations, and proposal preparation.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable tasks in Jira and maintain project documentation in Confluence.
- Analyze blockchain-related business cases involving DeFi, NFTs, cross-chain solutions, Ethereum, Polkadot/Substrate ecosystems, Layer 2 infrastructure, and ZK technologies.
- Work closely with Agile teams to prioritize requirements, refine the backlog, and support sprint planning activities.
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in requirements and propose practical solutions.
