Lead Data Science Engineer

Seeking a Lead Data Science Engineer for a product-focused AI startup. The primary focus will be on recommendation systems and personalization. Additionally, this role will involve matching, classification, data extraction, and AI agents.

In this position, you will lead a DS/ML team, collaborate with Product and Engineering to define priorities, and independently drive solutions from hypothesis to production. It's important that you remain interested in writing code and diving into technical details.

I'd be happy to connect if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in DS/ML, including 2+ years of team leadership
• Experience with production recommendation systems: retrieval, ranking, personalization
• Experience with independent deployment and support of ML models or services
• Strong Python and SQL skills, experience with offline evaluation and A/B tests
• Knowledge of Russian and English languages

📍 Warsaw or remote with a time difference from CET no more than 4 hours.
