WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES

Our flagship product is Digital Asset Management (DAM).

It is a system for storing, searching, and managing media files. The product is 7 years old and is actively developing: the staff and client base are constantly growing (sports portal Championat.com, RBC, Polymetal, HC Avangard, etc.). The product is economically successful in the Russian market.

As part of expanding the team, we are looking for an experienced python developer. The main tasks will be in the area of scaling: processing increasing volumes of media data, optimizing existing data processing and search algorithms.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Improving and adapting the product for development tasks related to business requirements, fault tolerance, scalability, etc.
• Making decisions on product architecture and technology selection
• Participating in task planning and estimation
• Performing code reviews for colleagues
• Optimizing and refactoring existing code
• Using modern AI tools to increase efficiency

Project Technical Stack:

• Backend: Python 3.8+, Django 4.x, Django REST Framework, Celery, Aiohttp
• Frontend: Vue.js, Nuxt.js
• Storage: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis
• Queues: RabbitMQ
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN CANDIDATES:

• Python development experience of 7+ years
• Backend development experience of 8+ years
• Experience developing high-load and fault-tolerant systems
• Experience in planning public APIs
• Deep understanding of relational DBMS, experience in analyzing and debugging database performance issues
• Good knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and classic algorithms
• Ability to organize your work, break it down into steps, and achieve results on time
