Hello colleagues!
DUNA Academy is looking for a specialist who would be interested in launching an Olympiad programming program for schoolchildren.
I'll clarify right away: we are NOT talking about teaching programming from scratch or another Python course :)
We've been studying for a while how this field is currently structured: what programs already exist, how Olympiad training is organized in different countries, and where there's still an unmet need.
This is exactly what we want to address.
A child already knows how to program, loves complex problems, and wants to move towards competitions, but is not yet ready to immediately enter serious Competitive Programming.
A good transition is needed:
problem → solution idea → algorithm → implementation → testing → performance evaluation → basic algorithms and data structures → first competitions.
Beyond that, a strong environment already exists — Codeforces, USACO, national Olympiads, and specialized high-level programs. We don't want to duplicate them. DUNA's task is to prepare a child for a level at which they can confidently move forward.
Therefore, we are looking for someone with experience in Competitive Programming / Informatics Olympiads / ICPC or simply a strong algorithmic background, who is also interested in working with schoolchildren and teaching them not only to write code, but above all to think about the problem.
We are planning small international online groups. The language of instruction will be Russian or English.
We want to develop the program together with a specialist who knows this field well from the inside, while DUNA Academy will handle the organizational part.
If you are interested in this, please write to me in private messages. And I would be very grateful for recommendations of people we should talk to.
