Description
Synapse API Mesh is a modern cloud platform for managing all aspects of the API lifecycle. It uses a modern stack of open technologies (Istio, Kubernetes, Backstage), implements a lot of its own logic, and is an enabler for AI transformation through flexible API access management practices and support for AI-specific protocols, such as MCP.
Our team loves development in Golang, is inspired by Open Source and Cloud-Native solutions, and actively participates in the communities around Istio, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
The team is fully represented in all roles; we have: analysts, testers, Go developers. We have a developed infrastructure with powerful CI/CD, a product-oriented approach, and work using agile. Our tasks are developing the portal for API management and the layer of k8s operators for managing APIs in clusters.
Responsibilities
- develop and maintain components of the Synapse API Mesh product (backend modules of the portal, k8s operators, etc.)
- participate in the evolution of the platform architecture
- use modern approaches, tools, and technologies
- work in an excellent team.
Requirements
- at least 6 years of commercial development experience in Go
- completed higher education
- deep experience with Kubernetes is mandatory
- experience in analysis, task decomposition and definition, conducting code review, experience in developing architectural solutions for the product, its components, automated systems
- confident understanding of microservices architecture principles, experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- confident understanding of methods for designing and developing high-performance, fault-tolerant solutions
- confident understanding of design patterns and the ability to apply them in real projects.
The following will be a plus:
- experience working with the community and developing open source projects
- experience with Service Mesh development
- skills in working with generative AI models; experience in creating AI agents and using them in work will be an advantage.
