This is the financial analytics team: here, we don't sit in Excel closing the month, but write SQL, build dashboards and data marts, and help the business understand where and how the company earns. Our main clients are the finance department and accounting, as well as the commercial team, marketing, and product.

The majority of tasks involve ad hoc requests from finance. For example, something suddenly changed in revenue and we need to quickly pull a slice of data. Or data is needed for budgeting. Or duplicates appear in reconciliation with partners, and we need to figure out their origin. The rest of the time is spent on research, dashboards, and data marts.

The team consists of 5 people plus a developer. We work in weekly sprints, and everyone has a PDP. The manager regularly conducts lectures for the team on corporate finance, analytics, and data science.

What you will do:

• Process ad hoc requests from the financial department: gather data using SQL, export it, and comment on interesting insights from the numbers.
• Refine existing SQL scripts for accounting reconciliation and verify the accuracy of exports.
• Create data marts and monitor data quality.
• Support and develop dashboards in Tableau, Metabase, Superset.
• Participate in research: plan-fact analysis, unit economics.
• Assist other teams with analytics on budget data.

What's important:

• At least 6 months of experience in analytics, consulting, or a financial position involving data work (internships count).
• Proficient SQL: joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations.
• Experience with any BI tool.
• Good Excel: lookup and array functions, pivot tables.
• Understanding of key business metrics: GMV, ARPU, margin, conversion, revenue.
• English B2 level: the company is international, and as you grow to a middle level, you will have regular communication with English-speaking clients.
• Ability to work during Moscow time.

Will be a big plus:

• Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, visualization).
• Interest in finance: P&L, cost structure, unit economics (or relevant education).
• Experience with AI tools beyond just chatbot level: agents, task automation.
