QA Intern at Mirantis
QA engineer internship at Mirantis, a company focused on Kubernetes infrastructure for AI. Opportunity to learn end-to-end testing in a real enterprise environment, including the use of AI tools to accelerate processes.
Responsibilities:
- Work with teams and clients on project requirements and translate them into clear, testable scenarios
- Design testing strategies and plans for backend and web applications
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help validate new features and integrations
- Create detailed, reproducible defect reports and provide data for test reporting
- Troubleshoot issues and provide detailed debugging information to expedite resolution
- Verify fixes and confirm that functionality works as expected after changes
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate test case development, test data generation, and results analysis
- Apply AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for research, documentation writing, and troubleshooting
- Identify patterns and actionable insights from testing and defect data using AI analysis
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and system engineers to ensure quality product delivery
- Document and clearly communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to the team and stakeholders
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and clients
Requirements:
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing methodologies, and testing tools
- Ability to write detailed test cases and format detailed defect reports
- Capability to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed debugging information for quick problem resolution
- Interest in automating backend and web application testing
- Knowledge of Salesforce or CRM integrations is a plus
- Confident use of AI assistants for research, text writing, and task resolution
- Basic understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) work and their practical limitations
- Ability to write clear and effective prompts to get useful results from AI tools
- Awareness of AI ethics, data privacy concerns, and responsible AI usage in a professional setting
- Interest in how AI and automation are transforming QA and enterprise processes
- Good organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused mindset
- Intellectual curiosity and a drive to learn new tools and technologies quickly
