Company:** "BELA. Children-Butterflies" Charity Foundation
Location: Moscow
Experience: 3 to 6 years
The "Children-Butterflies" Charity Foundation is looking for a Head of PR.
"Children-Butterflies" is one of the largest charitable foundations in Russia, which has been developing a system of assistance for people with rare genetic skin diseases for over 15 years. The foundation operates in 89 regions of Russia and CIS countries, develops medical, social, scientific, and educational projects, and interacts with the government, medical and scientific communities, businesses, and partners.
Over 15 years, the foundation has formed a strong public image, recognition, and relationships with media and partners. We are looking for a person who will take over the coordination of the department's current work from the start and gradually be able to fully manage the foundation's communication direction.
Responsibilities
- coordinate the team's work, form an overall plan, distribute tasks, and monitor deadlines;
- develop and control the foundation's PR and content plan, integrating the work of media, social networks, events, and partner projects into a unified communication agenda;
- ensure regular foundation presence in the media: find news leads, develop existing relationships with editorial offices, initiate publications, interviews, comments, and other formats;
- be responsible for the external promotion of the foundation's chairman: form a pool of expert topics, look for opportunities for publications, comments, interviews, and speeches;
- ensure communication support for the foundation's key projects — regional programs, opening of Genetic Dermatosis Centers, business, partner, and fundraising events;
- develop cooperation with brands and companies, initiate joint PR projects, and coordinate their implementation from the foundation's side;
- track work results: media presence, development of own channels, implementation of the communication plan — and based on them, propose next steps.
Initially, the main focus of the position is the foundation's current communication work, team coordination, and development of the foundation chairman's public positioning. As you immerse yourself in the work, a gradual transfer of most of the communication direction is expected, with independent formation of its priorities.
We Expect
- from 4 years of experience in PR and communications;
- mandatory experience in independently managing a communication direction or a large block of communications;
- experience in coordinating a team and several parallel projects;
- good experience working with the media and an understanding of the Russian media landscape;
- ability to develop PR and content plans and ensure their implementation;
- experience working with experts or top executives;
- understanding of social networks and digital communications at the level of task setting and result evaluation;
- ability to independently find news leads and promotion opportunities;
- systematic approach, independence, and ability to bring agreements and projects to completion.
Will Be an Advantage
- experience working in NGOs, social, medical, or other socially significant projects;
- experience working with federal and business media and television;
- experience with partner projects and collaborations with brands;
- experience promoting top executives;
- understanding of web and media analytics.
We Offer
- a position with the opportunity to gradually expand responsibility and influence the foundation's communication strategy;
- work in one of Russia's largest foundations in the field of rare diseases;
- medical, social, scientific, and charitable agenda;
- participation in federal and international projects;
- interaction with media, business, expert community, government, and public organizations;
- employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation;
- competitive salary;
- office in Moscow (Chistye Prudy metro station);
- business trips and participation in off-site events are possible.
