We are building a digital platform for industrial ecology, where environmental data ceases to be a collection of disparate tables, paper journals, and formal reporting. We are building systems that transform the environmental data of industrial giants into strategic decisions. We manage data accounting, emissions calculations, and reporting in a single system. Our task is not just to add a smart interface, but to make data a part of management decisions using AI. Here, the cost of error is not just an inconvenience for an ecologist, but huge fines and real consequences for business. There are no perfect datasets in this field, so AI for us is not a gimmick, but a foundation: experts must understand not only what the model found, but also why.

The project is already in industrial operation, so you will be testing hypotheses on real data streams, not on synthetic ones. This is a rare chance to influence the architecture of AI modules, the approach to data, and the principles of model usage in the product.

You will have to solve non-trivial, complex technical challenges that no one in the world has solved before, working side-by-side with a unique team. Responsibilities:

• Development, configuration, and improvement of AI agents based on various LLM models (OpenAI, Gemini, Qwen, Grok, local models, etc.);
• Creation and development of tools for agents: integrations with APIs, databases, CRM, external services, internal systems;
• Researching new capabilities and approaches: improving reasoning, expanding agent memory, increasing autonomy and task quality;
• Optimizing the behavior of the virtual ecologist: fine-tuning prompts, working with reasoning chains, error analysis, improving stability and reliability;
• Development of internal services and pipelines that ensure the operation of agents (contextual storage, RAG, workflow tools, observability);
• Collaboration with developers and the product team to integrate AI functionality into the product;
• Active use of AI tools in your own work: automating research, testing, log analysis, generating solution options.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of development experience in Java or Python;

• Understanding of LLM model operating principles and modern AI approaches (prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, agent-building frameworks);

• Experience with API and external service integration, basic understanding of microservice architecture;

• Understanding of AI agent architecture: reasoning, tools, contextual chains, memory architectures;

• Skills in model quality analysis and metric construction (reasoning Quality, hallucination detection, evaluation);

• Basic knowledge of Docker and Git;

• Ability to write clean and structured code;

• Readiness for continuous exploration of new AI technologies and rapid experimentation;

• Desire to work at the intersection of engineering and research, developing virtual employees who actually perform work tasks.
