Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

📌 Responsibilities:

Design and implement business-critical microservices from scratch and develop existing ones
Solve concurrent access issues: race conditions during simultaneous purchases of the same item, double charges, correct balance handling with thousands of simultaneous operations
Optimize PostgreSQL performance: complex queries, proper isolation levels
Write tests: unit, integration with Testcontainers, e2e
Use AI tools to accelerate development and critically evaluate the results

📋 Requirements:

5+ years of commercial backend development experience
TypeScript + Node.js — not just "writing scripts on Node", but building production systems: understanding of event loop, libuv, streams, memory leak profiling, debugging under load
NestJS — real experience with DI, modules, guards, interceptors, pipes, custom decorators, microservice transports
PostgreSQL — not just "doing SELECT", but: transactions with correct isolation levels
AI as a tool — practical experience with AI assistants in development (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT)

➕ Will be a plus:

Experience in gaming, e-commerce, high-frequency trading, fintech — familiarity with the domain and its challenges
Experience with financial systems, payment services, banking — where a mistake equals a loss of money
