Cloud service provider Cloud.ru is looking for a Head of SOC Duty Analysts Team

Responsibilities:

Shift Operational Management:

• Organize shift handover/takeover
• Monitor team staffing and shift schedules
• Distribute workload among duty analysts
• Monitor and ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs

Incident Management within the team's scope:

• Manage incident handling in IRP and JiraSM systems
• Ensure incident escalation to the CERT team

Team Management:

• Mentor and train L1 analysts
• Monitor metrics and quality of duty analysts' work
• Assign project tasks and oversee their completion
• Overall team management, conduct 1:1 meetings

Communications and Reporting:

• Generate reports on shift outcomes
• Promptly notify stakeholders about incidents
• Liaise with other company departments within the team's area of responsibility

Technical and Process Tasks:

• Maintain the department's knowledge base and documentation
• Participate in creating SOC content within the team's scope
• Tune monitoring systems, set up exceptions and filters

Candidate Requirements:

• Deep understanding of cyber threats, attack methods, and network/system principles
• Ability to think clearly and make decisions during critical incidents
• Knowledge of the Kill Chain model, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and SANS Incident Response (SANS IR) cycle
