We don't have separate architects—every developer makes technical decisions independently. To ensure quality and consistency, all significant changes go through a technical design process—RFC (Request for Comments). Colleagues discuss solutions and provide feedback, and only after that are changes implemented. Development of server logic and API First and foremost, you will be designing and implementing business logic for microservices. We need to process customer requests quickly, manage data, and ensure its integrity and protection. For existing microservices, you will need to enhance and maintain the existing API for backend interaction with the frontend and other services, as well as configure interaction with third-party APIs—payment systems, cloud services, service providers, and other ecosystem components.

Performance Optimization An important task is analyzing the performance of microservices, databases, and optimizing them. And of course, refactoring: improving code, data structures, replacing inefficient solutions (sadly, such occur) with more performant ones. You will also need to set up monitoring tools to track the ecosystem's status in real time and resolve emerging issues.
