RESPONSIBILITIES
The team's main activity is related to ensuring the operation of observability platforms within the company, developing tools for automation and telemetry collection.
There is a small group of developers in the team, and we are currently looking for a person to refine the on-call system for our group's needs.
The main tasks will be related to development, testing, writing documentation for the on-call system, and implementing new features based on requirements from adjacent teams (SRE, administrators, network engineers, developers from other teams, and the monitoring department).
- Development and support of products/services for the monitoring team;
- Prototyping and design of new services;
- Integration of new services into the current monitoring and alerting systems architecture;
- Performance optimization of developed systems;
- Solving tasks to ensure system fault tolerance and increase their reliability;
- Conducting code reviews;
- Maintaining documentation and knowledge base.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient Linux user (working with files, ssh, systemctl, standard log processing commands);
- Experience in developing infrastructure services with Golang;
- Experience in team software development;
- Experience in writing Python scripts for automation;
- Understanding the principles of secure inter-service interaction;
- Understanding of basic algorithms and system design patterns;
- Experience with git/GitlabCI.
