smak apps: a mobile app product studio. We build iOS/Android apps from scratch and grow them in the entertainment and lifestyle niche.
We are looking for a hands-on tech lead who will take charge of the React Native direction: code, architecture, and technical development of the apps.
Responsibilities
- Write code: key features, complex parts, architecture.
- Be responsible for the technical development of React Native applications.
- Lead developers in the team: code reviews, mentoring, planning.
- Establish engineering practices: CI/CD, testing, release process.
- Ensure application performance and stability in the app stores.
- Identify opportunities for automation in development and implement them into the workflow.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of mobile development experience, with 3+ years in React Native and TypeScript.
- Experience in a lead or mentoring role.
- Launched several apps in the App Store / Google Play with a real user base.
- Designed application architecture from scratch and during scaling.
- Proficient in working with native modules (iOS/Android) and Expo.
- Integrated monetization solutions: subscriptions, paywalls, ads.
- Actively use AI in daily work.
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, and testing.
- English level B2+, Russian level C1+.
Bonus Points
- Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and product metrics.
- Optimized performance for low-end devices.
