Looking for a CTO Fintech · Payment Gateway · Web3

Remote · Full-time · Pilot Stage Fix + Option — terms are discussed individually

We are creating a payment platform at the intersection of classic fintech and Web3: crypto processing and a payment gateway in one product.

The project is currently in the pilot preparation stage. We are looking for a CTO who will take responsibility for the technical direction: from architecture and development of key modules to hiring an engineering team.

Tasks for the first 3-6 months: — design the platform architecture, considering security, fault tolerance, and scalability requirements; — define the tech stack and engineering approaches; — participate in hands-on development of key modules: address generation, transaction tracking, integrations with payment systems, blockchain networks, and external APIs; — build protection against fraud, double-spending, and infrastructure failures; — form an engineering team and present technical solutions to partners.

What's important: — 5+ years in commercial development; — 2+ years as CTO or Tech Lead in fintech; — experience in designing payment gateways or highload systems; — understanding of queues, distributed transactions, and ensuring reliability under load; — ability to independently make architectural decisions and be responsible for the result; — willingness to work in an early-stage startup.

Will be an advantage: — experience with EVM, TRON, nodes, and blockchain transactions; — development and deployment of smart contracts, passing security audits; — knowledge of applied cryptography, key management, and MPC wallets; — own products or projects in Web3.
