A large fintech company is looking for an Accountant.

✅ Main responsibilities: • Full accounting of operational activities for a group of European legal entities; • Calculation of staff remuneration and timely submission of reports to local regulatory authorities (social insurance, tax, etc.); • Preparation of management reports; • Control of incoming payment documents from counterparties and their approval before funds are debited; • Preparation and submission of all mandatory tax forms in accordance with local legislation (including key Cypriot declarations); • Transfer of operational data to the corporate planning system and participation in the project to automate routine accounting operations; • Updating and implementation of internal regulations, accounting policies and procedures; • Preparation of documentation, maintaining order in electronic and paper archives; • Providing consultations to management on taxation and accounting issues. • Support for internal and external audits; • Assisting colleagues in the team, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes during periods of high workload.

💪 Expectations: • At least three years of experience in a similar position in Cyprus. • Excellent knowledge of the local tax field, including preferential regimes for new employees; • Flawless command of Russian and English languages; • Experience with ERP systems for financial accounting; • Specialized higher education; • ACCA qualification (any stage) will be a plus.
