RJ Games is an international developer and publisher of mobile and social games with its headquarters in Cyprus. Our project Puzzle Breakers combines the simplicity of puzzles, the depth of role-playing games, cool technologies, and first-class art! The game is launched on iOS/Android worldwide, tens of thousands of players play it every day, and we are not going to stop there!

All the most important decisions in game economics and monetization, experiments with new content and modes are made by us solely based on data. Therefore, the accuracy of data, the quality and stability of the data warehouse, the smooth interaction between different sources, and timely reaction to any malfunctions are of great importance to us.

Now we are looking for a Data Engineer for the analytics team, who will be responsible for supporting and developing the existing data infrastructure.

Our stack: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Airflow, GitLab, Python, R.

Tasks

• Support and development of the current data platform (in-house solution).
• Support and development of ETL processes and their orchestration.
• Monitoring data freshness, consistency, and quality.
• Eliminating the consequences of incidents, correcting and restoring data in case of failures.
• Participation in the administration and optimization of Elasticsearch.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL.
• Solid command of Python.
• Understanding of ETL process construction principles, including their orchestration.
• Confident use of Git and Linux command line.

Will be an advantage

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of R (required for legacy support).
• Experience in gamedev.
• Experience interacting with Tableau.
