#vacancy** Accountant (with knowledge of Cyprus Taxation) ** 📍 Remote

A financial company in Cyprus is expanding its team and is looking for an accountant with experience in Cypriot legislation. This is an independent role with full management of a portfolio of 3–5 legal entities and the possibility of working fully remotely.

✅ What's important: • experience in accounting for Cypriot companies • excellent knowledge of IFRS / IAS • experience in preparing VAT, VIES, OSS reporting • experience in calculating Cyprus Payroll Taxes • understanding of Cyprus tax legislation • English language at a working level • confident Excel / Google Sheets user ➕ ACCA / ACA will be an advantage

💼 What you will do: • independently maintain accounting records for 3–5 companies • support the full accounting cycle • prepare financial statements according to IFRS • perform bank reconciliations and treasury operations • calculate payroll and taxes • prepare and submit VAT, VIES, and OSS declarations • support companies' tax reporting • interact with external and internal auditors
