A large Russian bank with one of the largest arrays of behavioral and transactional data in the country and a developed ecosystem — financial products, a marketplace, lifestyle services, non-financial areas, corporate platforms. Product analytics is an independent area with a team of 500+ and a mature methodological base.
About the role. Several strategic management positions are open — from platform analytics to product verticals and credit areas. Teams of 10–40+ people, with leads reporting directly to C-level. Level — Head of Analytics / CDO of the area.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop or transform analytical areas at the ecosystem and platform level
- Turn large arrays of behavioral and transactional data into product solutions that influence retention, LTV, and campaign effectiveness
- Set and solve tasks at the intersection of analytics, ML, and product: recommendation systems, personalization, uplift, causal inference
- Formulate the strategy for the area and sell it at the C-level: product, business, risks
- Develop the team: design organizational structure, hiring, development of leads
Candidate expectations:
- 6+ years of experience managing a product analytics or Data team, including teams of 15+ people
- Experience working with C-level stakeholders and defending your position
- Deep understanding of product metrics, A/B testing, causal inference
- Strong hard skills: SQL, Python, confident understanding of DA, DS, ML
- Experience implementing AI/ML and data products into product processes
- Strategic thinking and the ability to build processes from scratch
- Ability to challenge the product team so that analytics does not turn into a calculator
