Job description:
We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our product delivery team, to develop and support geofunctional features and real-time location tracking services.
Tasks:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Android functionality — from implementation to release.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on feature design, architecture, and online experiments.
- Developing geo-specific features: pickup/drop-off, transport availability, routes, fixed points, real-time tracking.
- Implementing solutions based on MVI/Redux, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
- Creating UI using Jetpack Compose with design systems and component libraries.
- Integrating location services, maps, geofences, APIs, map SDKs, route and transport data.
- Implementing feature flags and A/B experiments for safe feature rollouts.
- Finding and fixing bugs and performance issues (memory, UI, battery, network).
- Analyzing production incidents, root cause analysis, collaborating with Backend and QA to prevent regressions.
- Working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools for building, testing, releasing, and monitoring application health.
Requirements (Hard Skills):
- 4+ years of commercial experience in Android application development.
- Strong command of Kotlin and modern Android APIs.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries in Jetpack Compose.
- Experience implementing offline storage and modern concurrency.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs.
- Experience in performance optimization: memory, battery, UI, network; debugging network issues.
- Understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and MVI patterns.
- Practical experience with Android location services, maps, geofences, real-time tracking, and geo-features.
- Experience integrating map SDKs and services with route, transport, and location data.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and code quality control tools.
- Ability to write maintainable and testable code with high unit test coverage.
- Understanding of backend service principles and API design.
- Good knowledge of Google Play policies and the complete mobile application delivery lifecycle.
- Strong command of Git.
- Experience with design collaboration tools.

- Experience using AI tools to accelerate development and testing.
