Responsibilities:
- Data quality assessment. Development of methodological criteria for data quality control: completeness, relevance, consistency, uniqueness, logical convergence of indicators between sources;
- Ensuring a high level of data quality. Development of data validation and verification algorithms, quality assurance procedures according to set criteria;
- Technical control and automation. Independent writing of SQL queries and Python scripts for automatic data quality checks after each loading cycle. Creation of DQ autotests;
- Anomaly monitoring and analysis. Identification of discrepancies, duplicates, omissions, and logical errors in data. Manual analysis of complex edge cases that automation could not handle;
- Technical specification for database engineer and programmer. Formalization of methodological rules into clear technical specifications for the data engineer to refine pipelines (ETL/ELT) and modify data mart structures.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst, Data Methodologist, Systems Analyst, or Lead Data Analyst with a focus on data integration;
- Expert SQL (PostgreSQL / ClickHouse / MS SQL): Confident writing of complex queries (window functions, common table expressions CTEs, subqueries, temporary tables), understanding the logic of stored procedures;
- Proficiency in Python: Experience using Python for automation of checks, data validation, and array manipulation (pandas, numpy, pydantic libraries or similar validation tools);
- Systemic and algorithmic thinking: Ability to understand third-party API documentation, compare different data structures, and bring them to a common denominator;
- Documentation skills: Ability to write clear, concise, and structured regulations, technical specifications, and methodological descriptions of metrics.
